Digestive Care is a precisely balanced nutritional formula which helps support digestive health.

In 2023, select diets in the Royal Canin Feline Care Nutrition range have undergone minor changes to both diet formulations and packaging. These changes ensure alignment with the latest research in pet health and nutrition, Royal Canin’s global sustainability goals and customer feedback on how to improve the diet. 

We would like to bring your attention to specific changes to our Feline Digestive Care dry diet.

The formulation changes to this diet are considered minor, and are listed below:

· Latest Research in Pet Health and Nutrition: Optimised fibre levels to ensure optimal stool consistency.

· We listened to customer feedback: Change in the kibble size and texture, where kibble may appear smaller.

· Sustainability: Reduction in the proportion of dehydrated fish.

 

Cats consuming this diet are likely to have pre-existing digestive sensitivities, and so, they are more likely to be impacted by a dietary formulation change, even those considered minor.

To support a seamless transition for cats and help avoid gastrointestinal upsets, we encourage pet owners purchasing this diet are made aware that a slow dietary transition is recommended between the old and new diet formulas, over a period of 7-10 days.

 

To help identify the new from the old formulas, please note there is a packaging update. The new dry diet will have the following claim on pack: a new claim featured “ Over 95% healthy stool quality in 10 days”.
